Authentic Thai food. A little bit on the pricey side. The food tastes great, I got Thai spicy and it was spicy. I think I will stick with their regular spicy! The staffs were very friendly and came by regularly to check up on us. They also have a nice bar that you can sit at.
Our family enjoys coming into Oros Thai! Great neighborhood spot that has fantastic food. Time and time again, I can't seem to order anything but the Jad Pad Phoo (spicy crab noodle with FRESH CRAB!!!). My wife often gets one of the many choices of curries and we used to get more spice (be careful the spice levels are hot!) but have now went to mild for the lil guy. Unfortunately, even the mild was a bit much for his palate but he enjoyed the crab, egg from my dish over rice. Service is always so kind and attentive. It does come with a higher price but the food quality makes it easier to keep coming back!
Hands down spicy and good flavor. Medium spicy dishes we ordered were bit spicier than what we expected but tasty. Pad see ew, Pad Gra-Praw and green curry were all delicious even though couple of us were sweating through the meal. But hay, we will do it all over again another day. Cheers.
Sahara, Nui, Oi, Gade. Great food. Come here often and Thai food is excellent. Services great
I stopped by Oros for a Thai tea and even though it was just a small order the service from V was fantastic! She was friendly, quick, and made me feel welcome. The Thai tea was perfect it had the right balance of sweet and creamy. I'll definitely be back to try more.
A great Thai place in south San Jose. Service is quick and food is delicious. My favorite is the green curry beef and pad Thai. Restaurant isn't too fancy or anything but good for mid morning or late lunch. There's usually no wait every time I go. Service - 5 / Ambiance - 3 / Food - 5 / Price - 4
My friend has been to this place quite often because it's near his work. He recommended to check it out as I am in the area. There is plenty of parking in the plaza. You might have to be careful with lunch / dinner hours because the restaurant is close to Kaiser hospital. I went at 12:30 pm on a Sunday. Although I got seated right away, you might experience wait time if you have large party. The place has festive decoration with Christmas season. We received complimentary soup as a starter. I didn't catch the name. The broth is smooth, not thick. I savored the coconut sweet and sour flavor combo from that soup. I found pineapple, cabbage, tofu, and white gourd. It was so warm and perfect for winter. My friend told me that they switch up the complimentary soup often. We ordered from lunch special menu: beef pad Thai medium spicy (could increase it a bit more) and Panang curry with pork hot spicy. I enjoyed a faint kick of spiciness from the curry more than pad Thai. The portion is pretty good for lunch. I truly enjoyed the food and fast service. We also got Thai tea at the end (it was a bit too sweet). Overall, it was a good experience. I would come back again!
I visited my favorite Thai restaurant, and the food was spectacular! The service from Sahara was also amazing, and I would recommend coming here! The restaurant itself also had a positive ambiance.
Oros is hands-down our favorite Thai restaurant in the Bay Area. Everything we've tried is absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. Our go-to dish is the chicken pad Thai - it's simply the best we've ever had. Their eggs-over-fried rice is another hit, and our boys are obsessed with their unique Crying Tiger. The Crying Tiger is so damn good, you'll actually cry if you have to share it. We always have to order two! What makes our experience at Oros consistently wonderful is the friendly staff, and the true MVP, manager Gade. The food is always fantastic, but when Gade is managing the kitchen, it reaches a whole new level of excellence. Her hospitality is top-tier, and she makes us feel like we're dining with family. She has a special bond with our youngest son, AnZie. We celebrated AnZie's second birthday at Oros, and it was amazing - rivaling the big party we threw for him and his brother in Hawaii! Gade made the experience so wonderful and memorable for our family. My sisters and nieces joined us, and they were blown away by the food and service too. Gade and her team truly deserve all the praise - someone, please give this lady a raise and a bonus! It's well-deserved.
We love Thai food, and we love Oros Thai! Went here to bring my girlfriend back to life after she got her blood drawn at Kaiser. Unfortunately it worked, so I guess we'll have to keep coming back! She got the Panang curry (always her favorite) and I tried the papaya salad. Both dishes were great and they were plated beautifully. Really like the attention to detail they have here. The veggies in my papaya salad were fresh, and the grilled shrimp were sooooo good. Also appreciated the soup they give before your meal. Gf also did the Yelp check-in and got herself a free Thai tea. I can't have caffeine, but she said it tasted good. Plus it was free, so can't beat that.
